Sunday Street and Market Photos in Rabat

Just a neighborly chat. On the left are a couple of fresh donuts and more being made.

One has to watch out for bikes, scooters, and even motorcycles on the market streets.

Oy vey. Sheep feet and a head or two.

These guys were cooking a whole critter, probably a sheep.

The street kitties are in pretty sad shape. No comparison to Istanbul kitties.

Rug and poof vendors. One among many.

Want to get to the other side? Pile in a row boat and pay the fare.

Lots of motorized plastic toys for kids to rent and ride. Or henna artists to paint you up.

Too pretty for words. Mostly soaps, herbs, natural stains.

Her job is to smile and offer drinks of water from a goatskin. Not so popular since covid.

Athletic store display.

Lots of men, especially, wear these pointy hooded robes.

Sugar cane drink with lemon and ginger. Very refreshing!

I don't know why he is unhappy. His display is beautiful!

Not sure what rasta man is cooking up.

Not much effort went into this display of veggies.

  2. Beautiful pictures. The man who was unhappy probably didn’t want his picture taken. 🤷‍♀️
